Microchip’s Bluetooth Evaluation Kit provides a cost-effective add-on for embedded evaluation and development using many 16/32-bit PIC microcontrollers (MCUs) or dsPIC digital-signal controllers. The kit includes CandleDragon’s dotstack demonstration Bluetooth Stack, which supports multiple profiles in a single MCU including SPP, HFP, and HID. More profiles are planned for the near future. Microchip’s Bluetooth Evaluation Kit (part # DM183036) comes with the Bluetooth PICtail Plus Daughter Board along with the 16-bit USB PIC24FJ256GB110 and 32-bit CAN/USB PIC32MX795F512L MCU plug-in modules, both of which come preprogrammed with CandleDragon’s dotstack Bluetooth demonstration stack and SPP profile.
