Targeting high-volume apps, the Nano WiReach SMT 2 cm x 3.7 cm Wi-Fi module offers 3G routing, Wi-Fi client, and access-point capabilities as well as multiple hardware interfaces and extensive firmware functionality. Packing a full suite of Internet protocols and applications, the module can also serve as an independent Wi-Fi access point where Wi-Fi infrastructure does not exist. With the module acting as a Wi-Fi access point, users can connect to their deployed, in-field product via standard Wi-Fi devices, such as iPhones, iPads and other mobile phones and devices, to control or manage their product. To ensure complete security, the module comes complete with the latest Wi-Fi encryption algorithms (WPA/WPA2, in both PSK and Enterprise modes) as well as Internet SSL communication and encryption algorithms.
