The module includes a 10/100M Ethernet port and 6 serial ports with auto RS-485 provision. Memory includes 1 Gbytes of NAND flash, 8 Mbytes of serial data flash, and up to 128 Mbytes of DDR2 RAM. The 144-pin SODIMM form-factor also provides access to SPI, I2C, I2S audio, CAN 2.0B SDIO, PWMs, timer/counters, and a 10-bit ADC.

EMAC has a number of off-the-shelf carrier boards that feature ADC, DAC, MMC/SD card, keypad, LCD, audio, and modem interfaces like the SoM-150ES.

EMAC provides a Linux-based Eclipse IDE development environment. The platform also supports Microsoft Windows CE 6.0 applications where Microsoft Visual Studio 2005/2008 can be utilized.

Pricing for the SoM-9x25 starts at $180.
