Combining high-performance radio-frequency identification (RFID), a barcode scanner, and GPRS/WLAN wireless transmission functions, Adlink’s IMX-9000 industrial mobile handheld computer is designed for a variety of industries including fully supported logistics management, transportation, retail, and factory automation. It offers superior resistance to water and dust, Adlink says, and passes 1.5-m drop tests to ensure continuous and reliable operation in harsh working environments. Also, it uses the Windows CE 6.0 R3 operating system (OS) with a software component-sharing interface to shorten product development cycles and reduce time-to-market. Its 3.5-in. four-wire resistive touch panel is readable in sunlight for outdoor use. Equipped with a 5-Mpixel back camera and a 0.3-Mpixel front camera, it supports wireless broadband for real-time video communication and surveillance. Integrated Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GSM, fast-positioning GPS, and A-GPS all enhance its wireless communication reliability. And, a 3000-mAh rechargeable lithium battery provides the power.
