A fourth-generation 3U CompactPCI processor blade developed by ADLINK Technology supports the quad-core Intel Core i7-4700EQ at 2.4 GHz. The cPCI-3510 blades incorporate 8 Gbytes of DDR3L-1600 ECC memory soldered on-board, and 32 Gbytes of SATA NAND flash. It’s designed to comply with MIL-STD-810G, with an operating temperature ranging from −20 to 70°C and withstanding vibration environments of 5 G rms under operation. The board also integrates Intel’s HD 4600 Graphics, suiting it for video-transcoding applications. Two dual-mode DisplayPorts support single-link DVI or HDMI through a passive adapter cable and VGA interface using an active adapter cable. There’s also one DVI-I output. ADLINK’s graphics module, installed in the XMC site, supports up to four independent displays. The cPCI-3510 series includes two blade types: the 3510 that’s equipped with Hard Metric (HM) connectors; and the PICMG 2.30-compliant cPCI-3511, which has an Ultra HM (UHM) J2 connector supporting 5-Gbit/s data-transfer speeds. Both are compatible with the CompactPCI PlusIO pin assignment, and support PCI Express Gen2 x4, three SATA 3-Gbit/s ports, three USB 2.0 ports, and two Gigabit Ethernet ports at the J2 connector.
