Using Teja FP, network OEMs can implement their designs in software on FPGAs with multiple embedded processors.

Using Teja FP, network OEMs can implement their designs in software on FPGAs with multiple embedded processors. This will speed development of flexible systems optimized for performance, power, and cost. The software’s unique methodology and scaleable infrastructure allow designers to simultaneously design both hardware and software in ANSI C. System architects and software engineers can design an entire FPGA-based system, including hardware architecture, in the widely used C language instead of RTL. TEJA FP includes pre-designed multi-processor fabric components plus other IP elements that are easily assembled, configured, and managed through APIs by engineers without a deep knowledge of multi-processing.

Teja FP currently supports the Xilinx Virtex-4 FX family of FPGAs and includes the multi-core infrastructure IP, a rich set of APIs, and productivity tools. The software also provides a library of data plane applications in extensible source code.
