Available in flow-through and pipelined versions, the company's 4-Mbit synchronous Zero Bus Turnaround (ZBT) SRAMs are being called the industry's fastest. The IDT71V546 (pipelined) and IDT71V547 (flow-through) devices are 3.3V ZBT SRAMs configured as 128k x 36. The latter operates at 100 MHz with an 8-ns clock-to-data-access time. The pipelined version operates at 133 MHz with a 4.2-ns clock-to-data access rate. The SRAMs are suited for networking products, such as switches and routers, which require memories with high bandwidth and the ability to intermix read and write operations in any combinations.
