Designed for use in cellular phones, set-top boxes, nomadic applications, and industrial systems, the 1 Mb M24M01, I2C EEPROM features sequential and random read operation and allows byte and page write up to 128 bytes. The device comes with a choice of two Vcc operating ranges at Vcc = 1.8V to 3.6V (M24M01-S) and Vcc = 2.7V to 3.6V (M24M01-V). Other features include a -40¡ to +85¡ temperature range, automatic address incrementing, and a self-timed programming cycle. Built using a CMOS process, the device promises a minimum data retention of 40 years and has a read/write endurance of 100,000 cycles.
