Applications in portable information tools, such as digital cameras, cell phones, PDAs, personal communicators, two-way pagers, and many other products, are scheduled for the ID4AXXXX Series of flash memory Miniature Cards. Production quantities of 4-, 8-, 16-, 32- and 48-Mbyte configurations are available now, with 64- and 128-Mbyte versions due early in 1999.The cards use the company's Smart Voltage Flash Memory devices and can operate from either 3.3V or 5V supplies, adding greater flexibility in designing devices to various power needs. Internal device detection circuitry automatically configures the cards.
