Designed to provide a flexible alternative to mask-programmed ROMs, the M27C322 is said to be the industry's first 32-Mbit EPROM. This device operates from a standard 5V supply and is pin-compatible with equivalent mask ROMs. The memory is UV-erasable, has a fixed 2M x 16-bit configuration and comes in an FDIP42W package. Access time is 80 ns and active power consumption is 70 mA at 8 MHz and standby current is 100 µA.
