These 133-MHz, 128-Mb synchronous DRAMs and a family of 133-MHz modules ranging from 64 to 512-MB are targeted for use in high-end servers and workstations. Using the 128-Mb SDRAMs, only 18 chips are needed for a 256-MB SDRAM DIMM. The devices fit on a standard DIMM without special stacking, which lets them be manufactured economically. The high-density SDRAM modules are well-suited for large capacity memory applications up to 16 GB.
