The PC133-MHz SDRAM modules offer a significant boost in bus speeds, allowing data to flow from main memory to the CPU 33% faster than it does from PC100 modules. The new modules are offered in registered and unbuffered x64 and x72 DIMM configurations and are available in densities ranging from 64 Mbytes to 1 GB. The modules utilize 168-pin DIMMs and the same manufacturing and testing processes as PC100 modules, but with tighter specs on timing and other areas. The PC133 modules are suited for applications such as servers, workstations and high-end PCs, as well as various low-end PCs.
