Offered in a BGA package measuring just 9 mm x 11 mm x 1.4 mm, the device operates on 1.8V to support low power consumption. It also promises write performance that is up to 20 times faster than currently available storage options. For example, a 5 MB downloadÑapproximately five minutes of musicÑcan be achieved in just a few seconds. The Mobile DiskOnChip is supported by leading-edge mobile operating systems allowing for quick integration, and a development kit is available for proprietary operating systems.
