Targeting the auto GPS and industrial markets, the company’s SDRAMs feature a wider ambient temperature range from -40°C to +85°C compared to standard SDRAM (0°C to 70°C). Data transfer is via a 133-MHz SDRAM architecture and the chips are available in 128-Mb (UPD45128163G5-A75I-9JF) and 256-Mb (EDS2516APTA-75TI) densities. Offered in 54-pin TSOP IIs operating on 3.3V ±0.3V, they do not require a specialized SDRAM controller. The 128-Mb device is also available in a low-current version.
