Offered as an enhanced, 1-Kb Microwire serial EEPROM, the IS93C46A features increased clock speeds of up to 2 Mhz, Schmitt-trigger inputs to reduce noise interference, and improved endurance. Available in x8 and x16 configurations, the device typically consumes just 0.5 mA of active current and 2 µA of standby current, making it suitable for numerous battery-powered applications. In terms of durability, the serial EEPROM features an endurance of one-million cycles per byte and operates over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
