Toshiba Unveils High Density SDHC And microSD Cards

Expanding the company's line-up of SD Memory Cards are a 4- GB Class 6 SDHC, 4-GB Class 4 miniSDHC, and a 2-GB microSD memory card. The SDHC card achieves a maximum speed of 20 MB/s and a Class 6 SD speed class with a minimum sustained data-writing speed of 6 MB/s. For security, the card relies on CPRM copyright technology. With a 4-GB capacity, the miniSDHC card can store up to 69 hours of music at a bit rate of 128 kb/s. It specifies a Class 4 SD speed class with a minimum sustained data-write rate of 4 MB/s and also employs CPRM copyright technology.
