Nov. 1, 2000

This new series of fans is useful in keeping temperatures down for VGA cards and chips and is also expected to find wide use in telecomm apps to cool DSP chips. The VX series of coolers is claimed to work especially well on Banshee TNT-type products. They are available in 5V or 12V, 40 mm x 40 mm x 9 mm sleeve or ball bearing models with a heat transfer pad included. Life expectancy for the sleeve-bearing model at 40°C is 20,000 hours. Life expectancy for the ball-bearing model at 40°C is 40,000 hours.
