With the Object-Oriented Real-Time Visual Language (OORVL) DSP graphical compiler, engineers can create their DSP algorithms graphically using a block-diagram editor. The tool is analogous to a textual-based C compiler in that it produces DSP object code directly. It currently produces code for several popular Texas Instrument DSPs but is capable of adding support for others. The tool is a 32-bit compiler designed for Windows 95/98/NT. It allows real-time development for DSP applications in data acquisition, math, control systems, virtual instrumentation, image processing and more.
