Tailored for use with the company's tin-can rotary and linear stepper motors, the NP3775 debuts as a bipolar chopper driver and the NP7380 as a state logic (phase distribution) chip. The NP3775 dual bipolar chopper drives a 2-phase stepper motor with full- or half-step operation and a maximum output current of 750 mA. Integrating a digital filter to eliminate external components, the device connects directly to the CPU. The NP3775D2 is available in a 22-pin DIP package or a 24-pin EMP package. The NP7380 state logic chip comes in a 14-pin EMP package and both devices are RoHS compliant. Prices for the NP3775D2, NP3775E3, and NP7380 are $6.49, $2.70, and $0.99 each/100, respectively.
