Poised for next-gen HD video, telecom, and IP devices, the SMT362 development system comes armed with two TMS320C6455 DSPs from Texas Instruments and a Xilinx Virtex-4 FX60 FPGA. Employing a modular TIM (Texas Instruments Module) design, the system can scale-up DSP and FPGA capabilities by connecting to additional SMT362s or other TIMs. It integrates 256 MB of DDR2-500 SDRAM for each DSP and a wide range of I/O. A comprehensive set of software tools is provided to ease algorithm implementation. Software includes the Code Composer Studio IDE from Texas Instruments and 3L's Diamond FPGA.
