The eXpressDSP component wizard tool allows for the creation of an algorithm that adheres to the Texas Instruments' TMS320 DSP algorithm standard. Using information supplied via a series of step-by-step screens, the application will automatically produce a source code template and associated project file to be compiled into a custom vendor-specific XDAIS library file that can be submitted to Texas Instruments for compliance testing. The component wizard is said to greatly simplify the creation of XDAIS-compliant algorithms, leaving the vendor free to concentrate on the algorithm as opposed to having to delve into all of the inner workings of the TMS320 DSP standard. The application is priced at $295.
