Enlarging the PKM-E series quarter-brick dc/dc modules, three additional models provide extra output voltage ranges, more current, and more power for telecom and data equipment while supporting the latest generation DSPs, FPGAs, and ASICs. The PKM4515ZE PI accepts a 48V input and delivers a 24V/2.1A, 50Woutput. Also operating from 48V inputs, the PKM4619E PI provides a 2.5V/25A, 62.5W output, and the PKM4810E PI delivers 3.3V/25A, 82.5W. Reducing energy consumption, the modules specify a typical efficiency of 92% at a 3.3V half-load output. Overall input voltage range is 36 to 75 Vdc. Other features include remote on/off, output voltage adjustment, remote sense, current protection, plus over-voltage protection and over-temperature protection. In OEM quantities, price for the PKM4515ZE PI is $21.46, and price for either the PKM4619E PI or PKM4810E PI is $24.68. ERICSSON INC., Plano, TX. (972) 583-0000.
