An acceleration feed forward scheme has been added to the Navigator family of motion processor chips. The Navigator is a software-compatible family of chip-based motion processors that provides trajectory generation, servo control, pulse and direction generation, commutation, and other time-critical motion control functions. Acceleration feed forward is an advanced servo compensation scheme that allows for faster system responses, lower dynamic tracking errors and more efficient operation of a motor. Pricing for the Navigator family of motion processors with acceleration feed forward starts at $47 in OEM quantities.
