Digital Cable Tester Has Diagnostic Capabilities

In preparation for future standards such as Category 6, the Fluke DSP-4000 digital cable tester has been designed with the ability to perform tests to 350 MHz. In addition, the tester also offers enhanced diagnostic capabilities and features a fiber optic test adapter for two-way testing of dual multimode links.In order to provide cabling professionals with a test that certifies to the new Cat 5e standard, future Category 6 standard and beyond, the unit has been designed to accurately measure stringent test parameters for Near-End Crosstalk and attenuation. It also features a digital platform that allows users to perform automated two-way Time Domain Talk analysis. Options include a fiber optic test adapter.
