The eXpressDSP real-time DSP software environment is said to simplify and streamline the DSP product development process, giving OEMs a choice of reusable software components such as complex DSP algorithms, enabling them to concentrate on system-level matters.Included within the environment are powerful integrated development tools (Code Composer Studio); a scalable, real-time software foundation; standards for application interoperability and reuse; and a growing base of DSP-based software modules from third parties that can be easily integrated into systems. Claimed as a DSP first is a single, standard set of coding conventions and APIs for algorithm creators to "wrap" the algorithm for system-ready use, enabling algorithms to be written once and reused widely by integrators. A developer’s kit is available as are "how-to" application notes.
