Packing both VoIP and data routing features, the TNETV1061 system-on-chip (SoC) integrates the company’s Telogy software and DSPs. Anchored by a dual processor architecture consisting of a TMS320C55x DSP core and MIPS RISC processor, the chip features DDR memory and NAND flash interfaces, support for SLIC solutions including the latest telephony interfaces from Legerity and Silicon Labs, a 10/100 Ethernet interface that supports AutoMDIX, and a VLYNQ interface to the company's TNETW1350A 802.11a/b/g WLAN devices. Putting the icing on the cake, Telogy software supports a wide range of vocoders, four voice channels, PIQUA voice-quality monitoring, echo cancellation, packet loss compensation/ recovery, SIP protocol stack and supplemental services, secure RTP and SIP TLS, fax protocols, and Linux OS.
