The company offers all of its Crystal programmable audio DSPs with firmware support for Circle Surround technology from SRS Labs. It is claimed that this approach will eliminate the need for complex analog circuitry typically found in current Circle Surround system designs. The new audio DSP devices, the CS4932x, will offer Circle Surround as a downloadable upgrade at no additional silicon cost.
