Touted as the industry's most comprehensive, lowest-power residential gateway reference designs for cable and home networking, the BCM93352V and BCM93352VCM are based upon the company's BCM3352 VoIP gateway chip and include all of the required hardware plus DOCSIS 1.1 and Cable-xChange packet cable software. The BCM93352V is an outdoor gateway with up to four primary lines of VoIP telephony and the BCM93352VCM is a two-line indoor VoIP cable-modem gateway.
Utilizing the xChange VoIP software is said to allow users to optimize cost and performance tradeoffs between the CPU and DSP resources for each product and system architecture. Both devices are available now.
