Setting benchmarks for both performance and speed, the company unveils two 32-bit ARM processor cores for use with its system-on-chip design methodology for networking, wireless, digital consumer, imaging, storage, automotive, and industrial applications. Its 90-nm, 700-MHz dual-core implementation of the ARM11 MPCore processor is reportedly the highest-performing ARM processor core on the market, while the 130-nm ARM926EJ-S lays claim to being the fastest at 400 MHz. The 400-MHz ARM926EJ-S processor is currently available in the CB-130M IP library and the 700-MHz ARM11 MPCore multi-core processor will be available for SoC integration by the end of 2007 in the CB-90M IP library.
