Meeting EN60950, UL60950, and CSA safety requirements, the WPA60 60W dc/dc converter accommodates the low-voltage inputs found on the latest ASICs and DSPs with two independently regulated outputs of 1.8V and 3.3V. Both outputs provide full regulation

Meeting EN60950, UL60950, and CSA safety requirements, the WPA60 60W dc/dc converter accommodates the low-voltage inputs found on the latest ASICs and DSPs with two independently regulated outputs of 1.8V and 3.3V. Both outputs provide full regulation down to zero load. Input voltage range is from 36V to 75V and the converter also provides input and output filtering as a standard feature. Protection functions include under-voltage lockout, soft start, and over-current, over-voltage, and over-temperature protection. An auto-reset function automatically returns the converter into operation when a fault condition is removed. Other features include a fixed switching frequency of 350 kHz, an efficiency up to 90%, a minimum isolation voltage of 2 kVdc, and a maximum ripple and noise on both outputs of 60 mVp-p. Operating temperature range is from -40°C to +100°C, and mean time to failure (MTTF) is specified as one million hours. Price is $55 each in OEM quantities. C&D TECHNOLOGIES INC., Tucson, AZ.
