The established HARmonica family of digital servo drives now includes a drive with SIN/COS feedback and integrated interpolation, features particularly important when the drive is used with direct-drive linear motors where precise positioning and high servo response are required. Measuring 82 mm x 25.4 mm x 75 mm, the drive delivers a maximum output current of 750W. Other features include sinusoidal and trapezoidal vector control and trapezoidal six-step and dc commutation. Further integration includes power-switching technology to accommodate CANopen DS-301 and DSP-402 protocols. For further information, call John McLaughlin at ELMO MOTION CONTROL, Windsor, CT.
