SoC Plays MP3 With RISC/DSPThe Cirrus Logic CS7410 targets portable MP3 players. It packs a 32-bit RISC core, a 16-bit audio DSP, an 18-bit delta-sigma digital-to-analog converter (DAC), 256k of ROM, and 80k of RAM into a small 100-pin package. It supports CD-DA, MP3, and WMA compression. I earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Masters in Computer Science from Rutgers University.
