Embedded: Embedded Platform Automates Auto
March 31, 2005
The Embedded Auto Platform (EE-Auto) streamlines designs for navigation, telematics, entertainment, information, powertrain, and chassis control systems. EE-Auto incorporates the company's real-time operating systems, including OSE, OSEck (OSE Compact Kernel), and OSE Epsilon. It enables developers to target all kinds of processors, from high-end DSPs down to 8-bit microcontrollers. The development environments support major protocols, including Local Interconnect Network (LIN), Controller Area Network (CAN), FlexRay, and Media Oriented Systems Transport (MOST). Development tools include the OSE Illuminator system debugger along with an Eclipse-based integrated development environment. EE-Auto licenses start at $15,000.
