Designed for hands-free applications in the automotive industry, the Parrot4 automotive communication management chipset supports GSM/GPRS, Bluetooth, and GPS functionality, as well as analog codecs and a 50 MIPS DSP for microphones and speakers. The chipset relies on the company's CMOS technology, said to maximize performance while minimizing power consumption.
