Designed for hands-free applications in the automotive industry, the Parrot4 automotive communication management chipset supports GSM/GPRS, Bluetooth, and GPS functionality, as well as analog codecs and a 50 MIPS DSP for microphones and speakers. The chipset relies on the company's CMOS technology, said to maximize performance while minimizing power consumption. The set consumes no more than 13 µA in standby mode and between 10 mA to 100 mA in operation. Other features include an embedded DSP core.
