Ready for deployment in portable graphical-processing products (GPUs), the ISL6269 PWM controller supports output loads up to 25A and output voltages from 0.6V to 3.3V. The controller provides the ability to program switching frequency from 200 to 600 kHz and reportedly requires fewer external components than comparable devices. It integrates MOSFET drivers, a 5V LDO, boot diode, and a PWM audio frequency filter. Other features include a regulation accuracy of 1%, synthetic ripple regulation, fault identification via power-good, pull-down resistance, over-current protection, configurable forced continuous conduction or diode emulation, and an operating temperature range from -10°C to +100°C. In a lead-free, 16-lead QFN package, price is $2.50 each/1,000. Intersil Corp., Palm Bay, FL. (888) 468-3774.
