Targeting embedded audio and voice applications in IP phones, personal navigation devices, portable media players, and mobile Internet devices, the CX2070X family of SoCs integrate audio/voice DSPs, multi-bit codecs, digital and analog input/out interfaces, and a 2.5W per channel Class-D amplifier or optional post-width modulation and differential line outs. Proprietary audio-enhancement features include sub-band acoustic echo cancellation, beam forming, end-to-end noise reduction, line echo cancellation, BrightSound, which is a comprehensive suite of parametric equalization, dynamic range compression, and digital crossover algorithms, 3-D phantom speakers, and 3-D virtual immersion. Available in a variety of configurations, additional features include a preset-configuration tool and software for evaluating/developing audio subsystems without a PC or microprocessor.
