16-Bit MCU Family Operates Up To 40 MHz

Available in twelve versions, the M32C/81 Group (M3081x) 16-bit microcontroller family operates at frequencies up to 40 MHz and provides a/d conversion rates up to 20 MHz. Compliant with the CAN 2.0B bus specification, the devices operate over a temperature range from –40°C to 125°C and include an intelligent I/O feature that allows users to control the timer and communication functions with little software overhead. They are available with 128 KB of ROM and either 10 KB or 12 KB of RAM. Additionally, the family maintains the same instruction set, peripheral functions, and code and pin compatibility as the company's other M16C MCUs.
