The new MAJIC family of multi-processor advanced JTAG interface controllers supports all ARM microprocessor cores. According to the company, the family includes the first debug interface controller to fully integrate an interface to both the ARM EmbeddedICE macrocell and the Embedded Trace Macrocell (EMT) debug solution into a single, 10/100Base-T Ethernet-based controller to facilitate remote debugging and fast download speeds. It is also said to be the first ARM core emulator with built-in interface to allow integration with logic analyzers, the first ARM core emulator with programmable JTAG clock rates, and the first ARM core emulator with the ability to support other architectures by the addition of optional configuration kits. The MAJIC family currently consists of two models: MAJIC supports the ARM EmbeddedICE on-chip debug macrocells, and MAJIC Plus supports both the ARM EmbeddedICE macrocell and Embedded Trace Macrocell on-chip debug solution.
