Teaming up with Microchip Technology, the company has introduced the Real-Time Architect development environment for Microchip's PIC18Cxxx architecture. The PIC18Cxxx architecture is an enhanced RISC core that targets 8- and 16-bit microcontroller (MCU) applications.
Based on recently developed scheduling technology, Real-Time Architect is designed specifically to meet the requirements of developers using resource-constrained, deeply-embedded target hardware applications, such as automotive applications. Features include a full function, pre-emptive kernel with associated development tools to provide users with multi-tasking capability. Available now, development seats are priced down to $7,500.
