Gallery: Beaming Robobusiness Day 1

Oct. 24, 2013
Technology Editor Bill Wong shows off some photos from day 1 of Robobusiness 2013 using the Suitable Technologies Beam remote presence device (robot).

It was the first day of Robobusiness and my first long term run of Suitable Technologies Beam. Overall the exercise went well. I did not run over anyone's feet or knock over any displays but we have another day or two to go. There were some network bandwidth limitations that caused some minor glitches in the audio and video but that did not prevent me from getting some good screen shots of the event that you see here. Unfortunately the video capture program was not as adept so no video interviews as yet.
