Reporting a level of integration previously unseen in SoCs for use in designing HDTVs for the North American market, the TC90413XBG integrates MPEG-2 HD video and Dolby Digital audio decoding, a 64-bit/333-MHz MIPS processor, dual HDMI 1.3 ports, and a backend processor capable of driving both WXGA and 1080p displays in one chip. The device is also available as part of the company's Customizable Universal DTV Platform (CUDP) for digital television applications. The CUDP includes ready-to-manufacture hardware and production software, providing users with a complete, fully customizable HDTV system to support different international standards and markets. Other features of the TC90413XBG include a VSB/QAM demodulator, video ADCs and a 3D YCS decoder, I2S audio input/output, and a 16-bit DDR-2 800 MHz memory interface.
