Expanding the capabilities of the company's FSMR measuring receiver, the FS-K15 VOR/ILS signal-analysis option enables the instrument to perform a complete calibration of VOR/ILS signal generators without any add-on equipment. The FSQ and the R&S FSU high-end analyzers can also take advantage of the analysis option. The FSMR with the FS-K15 option calibrates VOR/ILS signal generators and generator parts found in air-navigation testers. Described as a one-box solution, the combo meets the requirements of ILS CAT III. Additionally, the FS-K15 option performs measurements on individual signal components and determines modulation depth and frequency. For ILS, measurement functions for modulation distortion and intermodulation distortion are also available. All results appear in a basic display. ROHDE & SCHWARZ INC., Columbia, MD. (410) 910-7800.
