The WAVEPak DC/DC isolator provides adjustable conditioning for applications with high-level signals, such as flow transmitters in process applications. It’s designed to interface between field equipment and control systems, converting and isolating signals with a level of accuracy that exceeds 0.1%. The four-wire DC isolator has complete three-way isolation. Voltage or current inputs and outputs can be internally selected and easily scaled via pushbuttons located on the front of the module. Outputs can be configured as direct or reverse action. Designers can select either current sink or loop-powered input mode, allowing the module to be an active or passive input circuit. Optional 24-VDC power for two-wire transmitters provides the flexibility to drive additional load in an active input loop, which simplifies field wiring and reduces the need for field device power supplies. The integrated test terminals allow testing of input and output current values without removing cables, and LED indicators display the signal status. WAVEPak is 12.5 mm wide, mounts on TS35 DIN-rail, and features both CE and cULus approvals. WEIDMULLER, Richmond, VA. (800) 849-9343.
