The popular TLA family of logic analyzers is being geared up for testing next-generation network equipment operating at speeds of 10 Gb/s. Support for these emerging networks is in the form of the TCS101 SPI-3 and SPI-4.2 software that provide comprehensive system-level design and debug tools for equipment employing SPI-3 and/or SPI-4.2 buses. The packages include analog and digital timing and clocking support via a listing window display and a channel-naming function. Using the software with a TLA700 series logic analyzer, TLA7Axx logic analyzer module, P68x0 probe, and a high-performance scope with TDSJIT3 jitter analysis software, users are promised complete real-time displays with full correlation and optimum signal integrity. These capabilities are said to enable rapid development of highly functional, scalable, standards-based networks that can operate at speeds of 10 Gb/s and beyond.
