The HFCT-5402D fiber optic transceiver for SONET OC-48, SDH STM-16 and 2488 Mb/s ATM applications is a 1300 nm laser based duplex SC receptacle 2x9 transceiver with integral clock and data recovery (CDR). It provides a cost-effective solution for short reach (up to 2 km singlemode fiber) 2488 Mb/s data link requirements. This compact transceiver requires a single 5V source and contains features such as laser bias monitor, signal detect and transmit disable. Operating temperature range is 0º to 70º C.
