The 1104B series LEDs are now available in a wider range of colors and luminous intensities to support a variety of display and indicator applications. The LEDs feature a 120° viewing angle with luminous intensities up to 300 mcd (If = 10 mA), depending on the die and color. The new colors include the blue Model UB1104B and the blue-green Model UG1104B, both with an InGaN/SiC die and with a luminous intensity of 100 mcd and 300 mcd, respectively. Also new are the red Model FR1104B and the yellow Model FY1104B with an AllnGaP die. Both LEDs provide a luminous intensity of up to 70 mcd (If = 20 mA). All components in the 1104B series have an operating temperature range that extends from -40°C to 100°C. And depending on color and die, the LEDs exhibit a power dissipation of 80 to 84 mW, forward currents from 20 to 30 mA with a 50 to 100 mA peak forward current and a reverse voltage of 5V. Prices for the new LEDs start at $0.10 each in small quantities. For additional information, contact STANLEY ELECTRIC SALES OF AMERICA INC., Irvine, CA. (800) 533-5231.
