Designed to power color or monochrome, large size, high brightness LCD backlight systems, the CXA-0240 Series of dc-to-ac inverters provides up to 16W of power with four or six outputs. With a dual feedback scheme for each bank of CCFLs, the inverters provide maximum life and light output efficiency across the entire display. They include soft-start circuit integration for improved CCFL life. This inverter uses a high-efficiency, low-EMI, voltage-resonant circuit design that offers an open circuit start-up voltage of 1600V with an output current of 5.5 mA into each CCFL.
