Enclosures have been developed for accommodating Siemens, Phoenix, Bosch, Murrelectronik, Weidmuller and other bus systems. The bus enclosure comes in five standard sizes, and all have 0.12" Makrolon windows to permit the visual display of components.

Enclosures have been developed for accommodating Siemens, Phoenix, Bosch, Murrelectronik, Weidmuller and other bus systems. The bus enclosure comes in five standard sizes, and all have 0.12" Makrolon windows to permit the visual display of components. To ease cable routing, three bus enclosure sizes come standard with pre-punched PG fitting holes and have side hinged doors with 180° hinges and key locks. Two sizes have bottom hinged front covers secured with retainer screws to achieve greater access in confined spaces, with cable entry via removable cable entry plates. The enclosures are made of 16 GA cold rolled steel and are equipped with 7.5 x 35 mm DIN rails, 9-mm wall attachment holes, ground studs on body and door, and a foamed-in-place seal that provides NEMA 12/IP 55 protection against dust and water entry.
