Designed for field and portable applications, the WavePort data acquisition (DAQ) system combines a wide range of data collection features with either voltage or vibration signal conditioning. Each system comes with a 16-bit resolution, 1 MHz sampling, external clocking, pulse trigger, and up to 24 channels of signal conditioning. The rugged case supplied with the system includes both a battery and uninterruptible power supply and has enough room to accommodate most notebook PCs and power adapters. The company's WaveView out-of-the-box, graphical setup, acquisition and display software, also included, lets users export their data in other formats including Excel, DADiSP, MATLAB, Snap-Master, and DIAdem. The unit also features support for graphical, icon-based data acquisition software such as DASYLab and programming environments such as Visual Basic, C, and LabVIEW. Five system configurations are available with prices starting at $7,195.
