Measuring 19" diagonal and delivering SXGA resolution, the NL128102BM29-05A monochrome LCD module employs proprietary TFT technology, which claims responsibility for a viewing angle of 170°, luminance level of 1,000 cd/m2, and a contrast ratio of 900:1. The display emerges in response to the need for large-size, high picture quality monitors for a variety of radiological and other medical applications. Of particular note is its high-quality grayscale performance. Each pixel consists of three subpixels, and each subpixel controls 256 gray scales individually, resulting in the display by each pixel of 766 gray scales simultaneously.
